Ayala, Adelardo López de (1828–1879)

Spanish dramatist and politician. He was president of the chamber under Alfonso XII. His chief dramas are the historical tragedy Un hombre de estado 1851, the satire El nuevo Don Juan 1863, and the revenge tragedy El tejado de vidrio 1856.
