Aylsham

Market town on the River Bure in Norfolk, England, 16 km/10 mi southwest of Cromer; population (2001) 6,800. The local churchyard contains a monument to the landscape gardener Humphry Repton, who lived at nearby Sustead Hall.

The market place has a number of historic buildings, including the church of St Michael, with elements of the Decorated and Perpendicular styles. The church porch dates from 1488.
