    0.12 sec.

Béart, Emmanuelle (1965- )

French actor. Her breakthrough film was Claude Berri's Manon des sources (1986), in which she played the title role. She was one of the leading French screen actors of the 1980s and 1990s in such films as Jacques Rivette's critically acclaimed La Belle Noiseuse (1991).

Her other films include J'embrasse pas/I Don't Kiss (1991), Un Coeur en hiver/A Heart in Winter (1992), in which she starred opposite her husband Daniel Auteuil, Claude Chabrol's L'Enfer (1994), Le temps retrouvé/Time Regained (1999), and 8 femmes/8 Women (2002).

Having made her screen debut as a child in Demain les Momes/Tomorrow's Children (1976), she appeared in the disappointing US comedy Date With an Angel (1987), and was underused in the Tom Cruise star vehicle Mission: Impossible (1996).
