Vienna

Town in Fairfax County, northeast Virginia; population (1990) 14,900. It is located 19 km/12 mi west of Washington, DC. A primarily residential suburb, it has a technology park. Vienna has grown dramatically since World War I. Tysons Corner is to the northeast, and Wolf Trap Farm Park is 3 km/2 mi to the north.

Vienna

Town in Wood County, northwest West Virginia; population (1990) 10,900. It is situated on the Ohio River, 6 km/4 mi north of Parkersburg. The area was settled in the 1790s. Its industries have included truck farming and the manufacture of silk thread, vitrolite, and glass.
