BRM

Abbreviation for British Racing Motors, a racing-car manufacturer founded in 1947 by Raymond Mays. Their first Grand Prix win was in 1959, and in the next 15 years they won 17 Grands Prix. In 1962 Graham Hill won victory for BRM in the Formula 1 World Constructors' and Drivers' championships. In 1974 the team went into liquidation.
