Telecom Tower![]() Originally the Post Office Tower when it opened in 1965, the British Telecom Tower in London, England, had a revolving restaurant at 158.5 m/520 ft. This was closed when the Post Office monopoly was broken up and British Telecom took over the tower. The overall height has since been added to – it now stands at 189 m/620 ft (including the 12 m/40 ft mast), and has 898 steps.
