Badaga
| A Dravidian-speaking people living in the Nilgiri Hills in southern India. Traditionally cereal farmers, the Badaga's economy was interdependent with those of the Kota, Kurumba, and Toda peoples. The interdependence of these groups declined in the 1930s and only the Badaga have increased significantly in recent years. |
