Badings, Henk (Hendrik Herman) (1907–1987)| Dutch composer. Originally a mining engineer, he studied music with Willem Pijper and in 1935 abandoned science entirely for music. He was professor at the Music Lyceum, Amsterdam, and the Rotterdam Conservatory. In 1941 he was appointed director of the Royal Conservatory at The Hague. From 1956 he composed electronic music. |
