Ballycotton

Fishing village and holiday resort on Ballycotton Bay in County Cork, Republic of Ireland, 42 km/26 mi southeast of Cork; population (2002) 425. Ballycotton is a centre for deep-sea angling and the local pottery industry.

The adjoining Ballynamona Marsh is of interest to birdwatchers.
