Bancroft, Wilder Dwight (1867-1953)

US physical chemist. A professor at Cornell University until an accident cut his career short in1937, he founded and edited the Journal of Physical Chemistry in 1896. His research interests included electrochemistry, colloid chemistry, and contact catalysis.
