Bandon

City in southwest Oregon, on the Pacific coast, 32 km/20 mi southwest of Coos Bay, at the mouth of the Coquille River; population (1990 est) 2,200. Its major industry is the export of cranberries, grown in bogs north and south of the city.

Bandon also exports cheese and other dairy products. It is a popular seaside resort community and artists' colony.
