Barkway

Ancient agricultural village in Hertfordshire, England, 6 km/4 mi southeast of Royston; population (2001) 660. Its main agricultural crops are wheat and barley.

Edward I granted Barkway a weekly market, held every Thursday, but this has been discontinued.
