Barth, Karl (1886–1968)Swiss Protestant theologian. A socialist in his political views, he attacked the Nazis. His Church Dogmatics (1932–62) makes the resurrection of Jesus the focal point of Christianity.

In this revision of her doctoral dissertation, Rashkover argues that in the Jewish and Christian traditions, the theologies of Franz Rosenzweig (1886-1929) and Karl Barth (1886-1968) can serve as role models for a nonfanatic theopolitics. Barth shared the strategic planning initiatives of his department and indicated each borough will see a greater emphasis on open space, parks and access to the waterfront. The infamous fine print has been enlarged, and chapter divisions have been inserted where Barth begins a new point. |
