Bawtry

Town in South Yorkshire, England; population (2001) 3,800. It is situated 14 km/9 mi southeast of Doncaster on the extreme southeastern boundary of the county.

The first house on the old Great North Road, coming from London, is known as ‘Number One, Yorkshire’.
