Baxendale, Helen (1970- )

English screen actor. She trained at the Bristol Old Vic theatre school, and starred in the first series of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) hospital drama Cardiac Arrest. In 1995 she was nominated as best actress in the BAFTA Scotland awards. She went on to appear in several British television programmes, especially dramas by the Screen One production company. She also had a major role in the BBC drama, Cold Feet (1996-99), and appeared in the US sitcom Friends in 1994.
