Bazelon, Irwin (Allen) (1922–1995)

US composer. He studied with Hindemith, Milhaud, and Bloch and composed much film music and incidental music for Shakespeare's plays.

Chamber

Chamber Symphony for seven instruments (1957), Sound Dreams for six instruments (1977), two string quartets, three piano sonatas.

Vocal

Legends and Love Letters for soprano and chamber orchestra (1987).
