Beaver River

Name of two US rivers, in New York State and Pennsylvania. In north-central New York, the Beaver (length 80 km/50 mi) rises in Hamilton County, and follows a generally westerly course to the Black River, 11 km/7 mi north of Lowville. The Beaver River in western Pennsylvania is formed by the confluence of the Mahoning and Shenango rivers at New Castle, and then flows south for a distance of 32 km/21 mi to join the Ohio River between Rochester and Beaver.
