Beddington

Part of the outer London borough of Sutton, England; population (2001) 20,360. It has a Saxon burial ground and Roman bath buildings. Beddington Place, built in the 16th century, is now a school; St Mary's church has 11th-century fragments and an organ (1869) decorated by William Morris.
