Boehme, Jakob (1575-1624)

German mystic who had many followers in Germany, Holland, and England. He claimed divine revelation of the unity of everything and nothing, and found in God's eternal nature a principle to reconcile good and evil. He was the author of the treatise Aurora 1612.
