Behrman, David (1937- )

Austrian-born US composer of electronic music. He studied at Harvard and with Henri Pousseur and Karlheinz Stockhausen in Europe. He worked with John Cage and David Tudor in the 1970s, notably for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company.

Pools of Phase-Locked Loops (1972); Cloud Music (1979); Indoor Geyser (1981); Orchestral Construction Set (1984); Inter-Species Smalltalk (1984); Installation for La Villett (1985); many albums of experimental music for CBS.
