Belin, David (William) (1928- )

US lawyer. Partner in Iowa law firms since 1955, he was counsel to the Warren Commission on the assassination of President Kennedy in 1964, becoming best known for his defence of the commission's finding that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin. He also led the Rockefeller Commission on CIA activities in 1975.
