Bell Rock

Reef off the east coast of Scotland, over 600 m/1,968 ft long, in the opening of the bay at the mouth of the River Tay, 19 km/12 mi southeast of Arbroath. A lighthouse, 37 m/121 ft high, was erected on the reef between 1807 and 1811, designed by Robert Stevenson and John Rennie; a new lightroom was built in 1902.
