Resort town in Lombardy region, northern Italy, on the promontory dividing the two arms of Lake Como; population (1990) 3,100. There is some tourism in the region.

She has received many honors including a Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship at the Bellagio Study Center, Bellagio, Italy, 1995; National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in 1980 and 1986; and a Fullbright-Hays Scholarship to Florence Italy, 1966.
The Patisserie, a shop presenting more than 25 gorgeous pastries, 18 Danish, 18 gelatos, assorted hand-made candies and the like, was long a dream of the Bellagio hotel's executive pastry chef Jean Philippe Maury, and it finally came to fruition within the last couple of years.
The analyzer will be on display at Booth 728 of the ISRI Annual Convention, which takes place March 11-14 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
