Ben Lomond

Mountain in Stirling unitary authority, Scotland, east of Loch Lomond and about 42 km/26 mi northwest of Glasgow. Rising to a height of 974 m/3,195 ft, its north side terminates in a precipice of 600 m/1,968 ft. To the northeast lie the lochs and wooded glens of the Trossachs, a traditional tourist area.
