| stations of three gas pipelines from Hassi R Mel to Arzew, two compressor stations on the planned gas pipeline going from Hassi R Mel to Beni Saf and the final compression station of the planned gas pipeline from Rhourde Nous to Hassi R Mel. In addition, expansions of production capacities had been undertaken at the cement plants of Chlef, Ain Kebira (Setif) and Beni Saf (Ain Temouchent) for a total output of 6 million tonnes. Sonatrach and Cespa are partners in a 210-km, 8 BCM/y marine pipeline called MedGaz built from Algeria's north-western port of Beni Saf to Almeria in southern Spain. |
