much chamber music, including a chamber concerto for 11 instruments, chamber symphony, nine string quartets (1940-76), sonata for solo cello, 11 piano sonatas, Propostae Novae for two pianos.

Vocal

Bonjour Max Ernst, cantata for chorus and orchestra (1961), and other vocal music.
