Bethpage

Community in Oyster Bay town, southeastern New York; population (1990) 15,800. Largely residential, it is home to Grumman, a major defence contractor, and Grumman Bethpage Airfield.

Adjacent, to the northeast, is Old Bethpage (population (1990) 5,600), noted for Old Bethpage Village, a recreation of an 1850s farming community.
