Bianca e Fernando

Opera by Bellini (libretto by D Gilardoni), first produced at the Teatro San Carlo, Naples, Italy, on 30 May 1826. It was Bellini's first opera to be heard in public. The story tells how Fernando rescues his father and sister Bianca from the ducal usurper Filippo.
