Biddulph

Town in Staffordshire, England, 11 km/7 mi north of Stoke-on-Trent; population (2001) 17,250. The main industries are mining, engineering, and textiles. The source of the River Trent is on nearby Biddulph Moor. Also on the moor is the Bridestones, a Neolithic burial-chamber.
