Bill Williams Mountain

    0.01 sec.

Bill Williams Mountain

Isolated peak rising to 2,847 m/9,341 ft in north-central Arizona, west of Flagstaff and overlooking the city of Williams (population (1990) 2,500), a tourist centre. The area is popular for skiing, hiking, and horseriding.

Named after an early 19th-century mountaineer, the peak is distinct from the Bill Williams Mountains, a low range rising to 825 m/2,700 ft southeast of Lake Havasu in western Arizona.
