Binh Dinh

Province of southeast Vietnam on the South China Sea coast; area 6,076 sq km/2,346 sq mi; population (1993) 1,373,100. The capital is Qui Nhon. The main products are rice and perennial crops such as coffee. Tourists are attracted by the ancient monuments in the area.
