Bitter, Karl (Theodore Francis) (1867–1915)| Austrian-born sculptor. Bitter emigrated to New York City in 1889. He worked with the architect, Richard Morris, and became famous for his bronze doors of Trinity Church, New York City. He established a studio in Weehawkin, New Jersey, and was sculpture director for several American expositions. |
