blackbuck

Antelope Antilope cervicapra found in central and northwestern India. It is related to the gazelle, from which it differs in having spirally-twisted horns. The male is black above and white beneath, whereas the female and young are fawn-coloured above.

It is about 76 cm/2.5 ft in height.
