Blair County

County in south-central Pennsylvania, in the Allegheny Mountains; area 1,365 sq km/527 sq mi; population (1990) 130,500. Its capital is Hollidaysburg and Altoona is its commercial and industrial centre. The county is in an agricultural and coalmining region.
