Bletchingley

Market town in Surrey, England, 8 km/5 mi east of Reigate; population (2001) 3,100. The Pilgrims Way runs nearby. The town is the site of a prehistoric earthwork, Cardinals Cap Camp. Bletchingley also has an 11th-century church, the ruins of a 12th-century castle, and many other medieval buildings.
