Bliss, Howard Sweetser (1860-1920)

Syrian-born missionary and educator. Howard Bliss became a Congregational minister in New Jersey in 1894. He went on to succeed his father , Daniel Bliss, as president of the Syrian Protestant College in 1920. He died in New Hampshire.
