Bloomsbury

Area in the borough of Camden, London, a series of squares between Gower Street and High Holborn. It contains the University of London, the British Museum (1759), and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Between the world wars it was the home of the Bloomsbury Group of writers and artists.
