bluethroat

Species of bird Cyanosylvia svecica related to the redstart, robin, and nightingale in the family Muscicapidae, order Passeriformes. There are two subspecies, the red-throated, which breeds in Scandinavia, and the white-throated, which breeds in central and southern Europe. The bluethroat breeds in swampy thickets and heaths and nests close to the ground among birch, willow, and juniper scrub.
