Bochco, Steven

Bochco, Steven (1943– )

US television writer and producer. Bochco worked as a screenwriter and story editor for television programmes such as Colombo during the 1970s. He went on to create the popular drama series Hill Street Blues in 1981, LA Law in 1986, and NYPD Blue in 1993. His programmes are typically dramatic with ensemble acting and overlapping plots.
