Boddam

Coastal village in northeast Aberdeenshire unitary authority, Scotland, at the neck of Buchan Ness, 5 km/3 mi south of Peterhead; population (2001) 1,400. The district is mainly agricultural. Other industries include granite quarrying, and there is a power station which provides further employment.

The village used to be a centre for the fishing industry, but this is now based almost entirely in Peterhead.
