Bode, Hannelore (1941- )

German soprano. She made her debut in Bonn in 1964, sang in Basel 1967-68, then joined the Deutsche Oper in Düsseldorf. She is known for her Wagner roles, for example Eva and Elisabeth. She sang Eva at Bayreuth 1973-74, and in 1975 recorded the role with Solti.
