Boley

Small town in east-central Oklahoma, 40 km/25 mi northeast of Shawnee; population (1990) 900. It is situated in an agricultural region. The town has a largely black population and holds an annual black rodeo.

It was established in 1903 as an all-black community, set along a railway line near Creek land grants.
