Bono da Ferrara (lived 15th century)

Italian painter. He worked in the studio of Francesco Squarcione in Padua and contributed the fresco St Christopher Carrying the Infant Christ to the paintings by Andrea Mantegna and others in the chapel of the Eremitani in Padua (destroyed in World War II).

Bono da Ferrara was a pupil of Pisanello in Verona. There is a signed work by him, St Jerome in a Landscape, in the National Gallery, London.
