Yogi Bear

Cartoon-film character created for television by US animators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The shrewd, smiling Yogi and his accomplice Boo-Boo (a cautious cub) steal picnic baskets from tourists and generally create mischief for Mr Ranger in Jellystone Park. Yogi Bear made his US comic-book debut in 1959, and appeared in his first feature-length film Hey There It's Yogi Bear (1964).
