border terrier

Small, hardy, short-tailed dog with an otterlike head, moderately broad skull and short, strong muzzle. Its small, V-shaped ears drop forward. The coat is hard and dense with a close undercoat and is red, beige, and tan, or blue and tan. Dogs weigh 6-7 kg/13-15.5 lb; bitches 5-6.5 kg/ 11-14.5 lb.
