Boscobel

City in southwest Wisconsin, on the Wisconsin River, 37 km/23 mi northeast of Prairie du Chien; population (1990 est) 2,700. It is a trade centre in a dairying and farming area. Beer, lumber, garage equipment, and metal products are manufactured.

Gideons, International, the bible society, was founded here in 1898.
