Boston terrier

Breed of dog developed in the USA for dog fighting during the second half of the 19th century from crosses of English and French bulldogs. It is bred in three sizes, ranging from 7 kg/15 lb to 11 kg/24 lb in weight, has a brindled or black coat with symmetrical white markings on face, chest, and legs, and carries its ears upright.

The name ‘Boston terrier’ is misleading as it is related to the bulldog breeds rather than terriers.
