Botham, Ian Terence (1955– )

English cricketer. One of the world's greatest all-rounders, in 102 Tests for England between 1977 and 1992 he became the first player in Test cricket to score over 5,000 runs as well as take over 300 wickets. He played county cricket for Somerset, Worcestershire, and Durham, and briefly represented Queensland in the Sheffield Shield.
