Bott, Catherine (1952- )

English soprano. She gave many concerts with Philip Pickett and the New London Consort, and toured Europe, Latin America, and Russia. She sang the Medieval Christmas Extravaganza in London and the Medici Wedding Celebrations 1539 at the 1990 London Promenade concerts. She is noted for her expressive singing of composers such as Rossi, Monteverdi (she has made recordings of Vespers and Orfeo), Cavalieri, and Carissimi.
