Bourgeois, Thomas-Louis (1676–c. 1750)

French countertenor and composer. He was choirmaster at Strasbourg in 1703, and sang alto at the Paris Opéra 1706–11, before leaving to devote himself to composition. He was appointed maître de chapelle at Toul c. 1716.
